Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently within at least one phase of the Product Realization Process (where applicable) without direction from mentors or functional management
  • Produce comprehensive project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work, including design creation, design analysis, and design verification
  • Develop high-quality, cost-appropriate engineering/product concepts that satisfy customer requirements (where applicable), while establishing an area of technical specialty and mentoring others on the team (in-discipline)
  • Demonstrate skill in multiple phases of the full product realization process, as applicable to role and region
  • Perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization services
