Field Service Maintenance Technician

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shop or field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair, along with technical certifications or an Associate’s Degree. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles is required, as well as good written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting and computer literacy for work orders and beyond. Applicants must be able to obtain a forklift license and furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair, while maintaining a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
The Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and performing complex repairs on material handling equipment in both the shop and field, adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, completing work orders promptly, and maintaining open communication with the service manager. They will also be expected to demonstrate proficiency with various forklift brands including Doosan, and experience with warehouse products, narrow aisle trucks, and other related equipment, as well as the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment visibly and audibly while working within set time parameters and maintaining positive working relationships.
