Candidates should have prior experience with field work, such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and be comfortable with frequent bending, digging, reaching, climbing, squatting, sitting, standing, walking, driving, and independently lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior knowledge or willingness to be trained to operate and drive a bucket truck on occasion is desired, as is prior use of tow-behind compressors, stand-on skid steers, or ride-on skid steers (training included).
The Installation Technician will install poles of varying lengths per install specifications, including digging holes and mounting solar panels and external batteries. They will affix license-plate reading cameras with PTZ technology to poles, angle to capture desired footage, and work on both public and private roads, often at heights of 10-12’ or 30’ using a bucket truck or ladder. The technician will repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring, adhere to a daily schedule, provide installation pictures via a mobile app, perform administrative tasks such as inventory management and reporting, and perform work in a safe and professional manner while meeting with customers and performing site surveys.
