Candidates should possess a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience, along with experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for various audiences. They require excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills in the country’s official language(s) and English, coupled with project-related mobility and a willingness to travel. Furthermore, candidates must be application/domain experts capable of leading workshops, working in a matrix team structure, and assuming front-end roles at client locations, advising clients on the MDG vision, data standards, and data governance organization, and demonstrating expertise in Master data topics around Finance, Customer, Supplier, and Material data. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of industry experience in CPG & Retail, along with consulting experience in MDG in SAP or other MDG products, is also required, alongside experience working with multi-cultural teams across multiple locations and managing business stakeholders – Change Management, and Process improvements.
As a MDG Senior Consultant, the role involves understanding the data governance framework and its relevance for businesses, advising clients on data governance strategy to ensure data quality, consistency, and security, identifying business cases for MDG to contribute to client topline or cost reduction, leading large teams to provide a single point of contact for clients in terms of design, delivery, and support, visualizing processes to create client-specific offerings around data consolidation, data cleansing, and data governance, steering clients in selecting relevant technologies and showcasing expertise in MDG, integrations, ERP, and CRM, and supporting system/application owners and technical teams on topics around compliance, security, and reliability.
