Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a complex and often ambiguous environment
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time
  • Ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and operate standard office equipment

Responsibilities

  • Identify marketing opportunities with regional clients and develop co-marketing strategies and programs to drive mutual business growth and increase Visa’s market presence
  • Develop and present compelling proposals and sales pitches to secure new business deals with key regional clients
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing plans execution, including promotions, events, marketing communications, sponsorships and partnerships, digital marketing, and sales support
  • Identify continuous, actionable consumer insights and opportunities through consumer understanding programs and tools, trend monitoring, and data analysis
  • Participate in sales pitch presentations and develop marketing plans to support new business deals
  • Build and enhance partnerships across the organization — including Sales, Product, Merchant Solutions, Finance, Operations Support, and Legal — to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans
  • Reimagine the use of Visa’s key sponsorships and assets, including events and partnerships with FIFA, Olympic Games, Disney+, and others, to maximize their impact
  • Define the social media marketing strategy, applying creativity and expertise to find innovative ways to capitalize on social, digital, and mobile channels
  • Lead media and creative agency management, including developing briefs, managing Statements of Work, and overseeing agency budgets for projects for Regional Clients
  • Deliver rigorous, fact-based recommendations to clients, executives, functional, and regional management, while ensuring alignment with stakeholders across the organization
  • Be innovative and curious, consistently seeking ways to improve processes, drive success, share achievements, and learn from challenges
