Requirements

  • Experience working in a client facing position in marketing, ideally within payment industry
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining strong client relationships and experience in development of marketing concepts
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders internally (matrix, global organization) and externally (Clients)
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Experienced with engaging and presenting with impact to senior decision makers
  • Advertising and media agency management skills
  • Solid digital marketing experience incl. working Data and Insights
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of Visa and the payments eco-system is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English

  • Flexibility role will involve some travel

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market assessment and identify marketing collaboration opportunities with key partners in Austria
  • Develop individual engagement plans and strategies for each key Client, aligned with Client's and Visa business objectives
  • Develop actionable Marketing concepts, leveraging Visa's many assets and own personal expertise (including but not limited to) research and data insights, payment trends, brand and sponsorship assets, creative origination, digital marketing solutions, local and global best practices
  • Lead development and manage the execution of B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies and plans that differentiate our commercial offerings, communicate value to our customers and lead to successful and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure that planned marketing activities align with key Visa priorities and client objectives and have well defined business and marketing KPIs
  • Support RfPs and new business wins through marketing thought leadership and ideation
  • In collaboration with the Account Executives, engage directly with key Clients to develop strong working relationships ensuring a thorough understanding of their business
  • Where needed, manage and/or brief creative, media, and/or third-party agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery of marketing programs
  • Manage budget, forecasts, production and campaign tracking in collaboration with Clients and third-party suppliers
  • Recognize latest consumer & industry trends and innovate to develop new marketing strategies
  • Develop innovative, new to Visa ways of delivering value to clients
