Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology
  • Proven track record of running successful communications output in Japanese
  • Strong understanding of Japanese communications channels, communication programs, media landscape, and customer behavior
  • Experience with digital marketing channels, content creation tools, and analytics tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, Sprout)
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English required
  • Experience working in a global or regional marketing team
  • Knowledge of low-code automation or SaaS industry
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing communications strategies for Japan, including messaging development, branding campaigns, customer stories, content transcreation, content marketing, media messaging, press releases, public relations, media relations, analyst relations, social media, web content, and corporate messaging
  • Localize global marketing assets and messaging to ensure cultural and market relevance
  • Manage communication channels (PR, Media, Analyst, web, social, corporate materials) and optimize for engagement and conversion
  • Plan and execute online and offline event content (webinars, tradeshows, partner events) to drive thought leadership, awareness, and brand engagement
  • Collaborate with sales and partners to align marketing activities with business goals
  • Analyze branding and campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve ROI
  • Manage external agencies and vendors as needed
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications and touchpoints
