Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in a quantitative role navigating a highly ambiguous environment, experience designing experiments with clear insights utilizing SQL and Python, and experience defining goals for campaigns and marketing programs. Familiarity with data sources such as media measurement, web analytics, social listening, and brand lift studies is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with marketing and executives. Experience working with marketing organizations designing tests (e.g., matched market, holdout/exposed) for campaigns is a plus.
As the Marketing Analytics Manager, you will define a data-driven marketing development and measurement culture at OpenAI, overseeing the development of KPIs for campaigns and marketing programs, and building a clear measurement framework and capability. You will implement full-funnel measurement and attribution tools to inform marketing investment, provide data and insights to assess performance and drive planning, and design experiments to optimize marketing strategies. Additionally, you will analyze large data sets, explore marketing or behavioral data to identify trends and insights, and develop dashboards, reports, and other ways of enabling the team to answer data questions in a self-serve way. You will also lead/participate in cross-functional collaboration with other analytics and marketing teams.
