Requirements

The ideal candidate is a native Telugu speaker fluent in both Telugu and English, with a strong understanding of Math and Science up to the Class XII level. Previous localization experience, particularly in academics, is preferred, along with a keen eye for detail and quality auditing skills. Experience with online teaching, video creation, CAT tools, and studying/teaching in a Telugu medium school are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The role involves localizing educational content from English to Telugu, ensuring contextualization, cohesion, rigor, and clarity while adhering to pedagogical approaches. Responsibilities include reviewing and editing existing Telugu Math/Science content, creating new localized content, collecting and incorporating feedback from state teachers, and proofreading translated materials. The expert will also research terminology and use reference materials to ensure accurate translation and retain the meaning of the source text.
