Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the insurance industry. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, and a demonstrated understanding of the workers’ compensation market, particularly in Michigan, is highly desirable.
The Marketing Account Executive will be responsible for marketing and selling Strategic Comp’s workers’ compensation products through the Independent Agency system within a designated geographic territory, aiming to achieve high renewal retention and profitable new business growth. This includes communicating with agents, underwriting departments, and Account Executives, presenting product knowledge effectively, and managing new business submissions as the front-line underwriter.
