Requirements

High-school degree or equivalent (two-year degree or technical degree preferred)
Minimum age of 18 years old
At least two years of previous manufacturing/technical experience OR a technical degree
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP’s, and general instructions
Basic math and statistics skills
Ability to make data-driven decisions and accept accountability
Computer proficiency for data input and review
Teamwork and conflict resolution skills
Problem-solving skills
Time management skills
Goal-setting skills
Process improvement skills
Regularly stand and lift; use hands and arms for reaching/handling
Stand and walk at minimum 70% of the time
Lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds (30-35 pounds frequently)
Squat, kneel, and bend frequently
Tolerate exposure to food allergens
Climb steps and stand/move on platforms, equipment, and concrete floors
Willingness to complete selection process (online application, testing, interview, drug screen, background check, pre-employment physical)

Responsibilities

Operate high-speed making, packing, and other production-related equipment
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on basic equipment components
Develop and analyze data using basic skills in math and statistics
Make data-driven decisions and act upon them, accepting accountability
Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Produce high-quality products in a safe manner
Be available to work any shift, including weekends and overtime, as needed
Maintain good attendance records
Flow to the work in all areas of processing and packaging
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain good communication skills within the team and cross-functionally
