Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a super user or systems lead across multiple MES software platforms (e.g., ION, Tulip, Ignition, Plex, Katana, etc.)
  • Strong process thinking and ability to translate manufacturing workflows into structured MES designs
  • Solid experience with Python and SQL for creating automations, data pipelines, or custom MES extensions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or 5+ years of highly relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-moving startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment, integration, and roadmap of our MES platform, ensuring alignment with Saronic’s internal processes and DoD compliance requirements
  • Act as the primary owner and subject-matter expert for all things MES — from training and documentation to troubleshooting and feature enhancement
  • Design and optimize process flows within MES to streamline manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations
  • Develop and maintain core dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools; support teams in building their own dashboards and analytics
  • Implement automation layers and extend MES functionality using Python and SQL to connect MES to other systems or improve workflow efficiency
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and production teams to ensure MES supports day-to-day execution and long-term scalability
