Requirements

  • Technical knowledge as an inspector, documentation control reviewer, junior engineer, or related field (or a combination of relevant education and experience)
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA regulations)
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in documentation control or manufacturing documentation review in aerospace or a similarly regulated industry
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies in technical documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with ITAR

Responsibilities

  • Review manufacturing documentation (e.g., technical drawings, assembly instructions, material specs, quality reports, test data) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Ensure documentation adheres to AS9100, FAA, and customer-specific standards
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to confirm alignment with production processes and regulatory guidelines
  • Verify version control of manufacturing documents, ensuring the most current versions are used
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
