Requirements

3-5 years of Workday Consulting implementation experience, including required Workday certification(s)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience leading a virtual team
Proven sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects
Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments
Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team and team members
Assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW’s)
Act as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management
Assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring work/life balance of consultants is monitored and adjusted
Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice; oversee and assist Engagement Managers and team members to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies
Act as a Data Conversion Lead on Workday implementations, using Advance Loads, Migration Recipes, EIBs, and the Configuration Change Tracker
Jump in and support projects with little to no guidance
Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work
Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
Lead and manage a team of consultants to ensure adherence to activities, processes, and procedures in Workday methodology
Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels
Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence
Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities
Perform role of mentor and coach
Analyze team skills and provide cross-training to maintain ability to staff projects appropriately
Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability
Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process
Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon project completion for the entire team
Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members, assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis
Drive bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team
Review estimates for sales opportunities
Review SOWs for language and accuracy
Attend Orals and prospect meetings
Manage utilization to targets
Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure accurate capacity planning for the team and assign resources to projects
Schedule regular 1:1 meetings with direct and indirect reports
Assess team member skills and maintain skills matrix
Meet with team members bi-annually to provide performance and client satisfaction feedback
