Requirements

  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and teams
  • Experience managing subordinate supervisors and/or experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
  • Ability to manage 6 or more direct reports, including accountability for mentoring, developing, coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, and 1:1s
  • Skills in establishing operational plans, implementing policies and strategies, with decisions impacting program schedules, customer satisfaction, resources, expenditures, and potentially budget or P&L accountability
  • Capability to propose modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes
  • Proficiency in addressing complex, difficult, and undefined problems through detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation
  • Strong communication and influence skills with internal/external customers, vendors, using persuasion to gain cooperation without direct command
  • Experience leading teams of supervisors and/or experienced professionals, authorizing hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Senior/C-Suite level relationships with strategic partners to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develop and drive portfolio management strategy in collaboration with Business Units to expand/protect market share, optimize pricing, and build long-term contractual agreements and relationships
  • Understand assigned account's strategic priorities and develop appropriate value-added programs for each account
  • Develop, communicate, and implement business plans to achieve strategic target business results
  • Identify and develop ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts
  • Oversee area of responsibility, manage performance, develop talent, ensure engagement and inclusion, communicate business/operational developments, plan, prioritize, and direct responsibilities of direct/indirect reports
  • Provide tactical and/or operational leadership and coaching to team
  • Manage people, including mentoring, coaching staff to meet/exceed performance expectations, defining goals/targets, conducting performance reviews, and guiding employee development toward departmental goals
  • Strive for continuous improvement and consistency in deliverables
