Candidates should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation, fuels, or renewable fuels, with a Bachelor's degree in any field related to the job responsibilities, and a Master's degree is preferred. Proficiency in renewable fuels, including commercial and physical operations and blending, is required, along with developing expertise in renewable fuel standards and ground physical operations. Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Experience in the aviation or oil & gas industry, sustainable aviation and/or renewable fuel programs, and SAF and SAFc programs is necessary, with attention to detail being paramount. A passion for sustainability and the energy transition is also a key requirement.
The Manager – Renewable Fuels (Aviation) will lead SAF commercialization initiatives by supporting the development and execution of SAF strategies, focusing on ground operations, blending, and business development. This role involves collaborating with SAF suppliers, sales teams, ground operations, quality assurance, and IT to identify and support commercial opportunities. The individual will act as a technical resource for sales and operations teams, ensuring compliance and integrity in SAF physical fuel handling, and will participate in audits and maintain compliance with global sustainability standards such as RSB CORSIA and ISCC CORSIA. Responsibilities also include managing back-office operations across multiple systems like Oracle, Tender Management System (TMS), and SAF registries for documentation, quoting, and proof of sustainability, as well as analyzing SAF market dynamics, carbon trends, and regulatory developments. Additionally, the role supports SAF blending operations, ensuring adherence to ASTM 7655, ISCC, RSB, and customer-specific requirements, and involves developing internal and external training programs on SAF and SAFc, while representing World Kinect in industry coalitions and trade groups.
