Candidates should possess 8+ years of progressive experience in sales, account management, and/or commercial pricing management. A strong understanding of enterprise B2B sales account management and the customer retention landscape is required, along with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams without formal direct reporting authority is essential, as is being highly persuasive and flexible to shift strategies and tactics when required.
The Senior Renewals Specialist will serve as the lead negotiator for assigned customer renewals, setting strategy and leading high-stakes negotiations to balance customer retention with revenue growth. This role involves documenting negotiations, refining strategies with the Sr. Commercial Pricing Director, and managing all assigned renewal opportunities in Salesforce for accurate forecasting. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting formal renewal pricing, ensuring contracts are right-sized, and partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product Marketing teams to develop tailored pricing solutions and integrate customer feedback into pricing models and programs. The specialist will also co-develop renewal pricing playbooks.
