Requirements

Candidates should have an Engineering degree, preferably with a focus on quality, and at least 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, particularly in developing new quality systems in startups. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, and service roles within vertically-integrated companies is preferred, along with excellent knowledge of ISO 9000 and other International Quality Standards such as TS, IAFT, IEEE, and IEC. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma is required, along with the ability to act independently and drive processes in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

The Quality Systems Manager will develop and implement Zoox’s Quality Management System and align it with mandatory regulations and industry best practices. They will support the formal definition of internal processes focusing on critical safety and quality, lead the development of the Company Quality Manual and quality KPI dashboards, and define a roadmap for ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Certification. The role includes planning and reviewing internal quality audits, assisting departments in defining clear operating procedures, standardizing quality-related methodologies, and collaborating with the internal vehicle safety group to optimize quality and safety policies.
