A strong understanding of LCDs/NCDs, payer contracts, claims adjudication, denial codes, and reimbursement workflows is required. Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance within medical billing is essential, along with the ability to develop, execute, and present comprehensive audit reports. Proven success in leading cross-functional projects and system/process enhancements is necessary. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros, is required, as is experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce. A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a detail-oriented approach with a high level of accountability are also essential.
The Lead, RCM Process & Quality Analyst will provide strategic oversight and leadership in quality assurance, process auditing, and operational compliance across all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions. This role involves leading internal and vendor-facing audits, overseeing call quality review programs, and designing, managing, and distributing RCM scorecards and performance metrics. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing payer portal access controls, tracking offshore payer restrictions, and leading payer audit responses. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams on audit escalations, validate payer contract rate schedules and system configurations, and execute and oversee SOX controls related to RCM functions. Maintaining and updating controlled documents, resolving escalations, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to special projects and strategic initiatives are also key duties.
