Requirements

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or engineering discipline, or 8 years of equivalent experience. A minimum of 5-10 years of quality assurance or program implementation experience in a regulated industry, such as nuclear, aerospace, automotive, or defense, is required. At least 2 years of experience managing people and teams, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional groups, mentor staff, and influence decision-making, is also necessary. Previous or current qualification as a Lead Auditor within an ASME NQA-1-based quality assurance program, with a strong understanding of NQA-1 requirements, is essential. Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus, as are resourcefulness, autonomy, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

The Internal Quality Assurance Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving Oklo's NQA-1-based quality assurance program for internal activities. This includes managing audit schedules, leading internal quality audits, and administering the Corrective Action Program (CAP) with root cause evaluations and personnel training. The role involves reviewing procurement documents, contracts, and specifications for quality assurance alignment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet expectations, and developing and delivering quality training. Responsibilities also include supporting the development of new quality assurance program areas, preparing performance reports and metrics, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and traveling up to 25% to support company initiatives.
