Requirements

2+ years of experience as an engineering manager or tech lead; 5+ years overall in software engineering
Solid software foundation with modern engineering practices in distributed systems, architecture, and scalability
Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Node.js
Proficiency with Database engines such as SQL Server, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD, and engineering tooling
Strong leadership and people management skills — coaching, feedback, career development
Experience shaping process and delivering high-quality software in an agile environment
Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3–8 engineers, fostering collaboration and ownership
Define and drive your team’s roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership
Ensure high-quality delivery through best practices: code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring
Manage technical risks, reduce debt, and optimize for long-term scalability and maintainability
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional alignment
Hire top-tier engineers and help shape a culture of growth, feedback, and accountability
Serve as a technical escalation point and steward of engineering process and tools
