Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead lifecycle automation, segmentation, and experimentation for Disney+ Japan to drive engagement, reduce churn, and support KPIs (win-back, upgrade/plan mix, retention)
  • Set strategic direction for lifecycle campaigns in partnership with Japan Growth, Brand Marketing, Content Programming, Creative, Legal, Analytics, and International Product Marketing teams
  • Oversee planning, execution, and optimization across owned channels (email, push, in-app), ensuring operational excellence, localization, QA, legal compliance, and measurable impact
  • Own lifecycle calendar: build and manage content calendar, identify viewership/engagement drivers, coordinate win-back and prospecting activities
  • Lead end-to-end campaign delivery with internal teams and external partners/vendors, upholding QA, localization, legal approvals, and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Content Programming, Creative, Legal, Analytics, APAC lifecycle leads, and global operations to execute and share learnings
  • Define hypotheses, design/run controlled tests for upsell, reconnects, engagement lift, and churn reduction
  • Co-define success metrics/measurement plans, structure campaigns for learnings, interpret results, surface opportunities, and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Explore, design, and test perks/loyalty mechanics to improve retention and engagement
  • Manage and develop the lifecycle team, report to Japan Growth Director, and contribute Japan learnings to regional initiatives
