Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on enterprise development expertise with SaaS applications and integrating them with corporate systems. Deep experience in building and supporting complex integrations and automations for SaaS tooling at scale through API/SDK/CLI usage is required, along with extensive experience working with infrastructure as code in Terraform. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a history of presenting analysis and recommendations clearly to various audiences, and prior experience in a high-growth, pre-IPO company or within the Technology or Healthcare industry are also necessary. A strong understanding of AI, automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, coupled with exceptional creative problem-solving skills and a user experience and security-oriented mindset, are essential. Expertise in Okta, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and GitHub is a must.
The Senior IT Systems Engineer will partner across the organization to identify and resolve issues related to IT systems and integrations, and manage business-critical systems and SaaS applications like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jamf. Responsibilities include working directly with vendors to implement SSO integrations with Okta, enhancing the IaC landscape with Okta Terraform, and resolving workflow inefficiencies through automation. The role involves implementing technical and process improvements for a security-first environment, producing documentation, partnering with the security team on policy implementation and vulnerability patching, and supporting governance, risk, and compliance efforts. Additionally, the engineer will mentor IT support team members, act as an escalation point for service desk requests, lead complex projects from start to finish, manage multiple work streams, and participate in a feedback culture.
