Requirements

Candidates should have approximately 6+ years of total experience, with a proven track record of leading highly technical teams, preferably in a growing SaaS or technology company. They must be able to operate as a player/coach, possessing excellent team leadership skills and experience managing systems administration teams, with the ability to get hands-on when needed. Experience architecting projects centered around automation using tools like Zapier, Workato, n8n, or Okta Workflows is required, along with experience applying LLMs and agentic AI to workflow automation or internal tooling. Knowledge of common scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and familiarity with public cloud providers like AWS, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Manager, IT Engineering will partner with the Senior Manager, IT & Operations to develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. They will collaborate with senior leadership to assess future IT needs, represent the IT team, scale processes, and implement best practices for security and compliance. This role involves building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing IT Engineering team, ensuring the uptime and reliability of shared IT services and hardware, and collaborating with Legal and Security teams to address data privacy and cybersecurity concerns.
