Manager, Global Payer Marketing

As the Manager, Global Payer Marketing, you will be instrumental in developing marketing plans and resources specifically targeting global payers. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting market access for both current and pipeline products within the Abbott Diabetes Care portfolio. This role demands a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, payer dynamics, and effective market access strategies to drive the adoption and reimbursement of ADC products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global payer marketing strategies to enhance reimbursement and support new product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Area Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Regulatory, to ensure cohesive and integrated payer strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify payer needs, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Create and deliver compelling value propositions, messaging, and marketing materials tailored for payer audiences.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of payer marketing initiatives, making necessary strategic adjustments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning and financial planning processes.

Competition and Positioning:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of competitive offerings and equip Area teams with appropriate positioning and tools to differentiate products profitably and add customer value.

Scientific and Promotional Tool Creation:

  • Provide Area teams with essential core promotional and scientific tools and support materials to aid in achieving their business objectives.

Internal Communication:

  • Establish and maintain a clear communication channel between Global Market Access and all other Areas impacted by global payer strategies.

External Communication:

  • Interface with external stakeholders.
