Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Degree in Business, Marketing, Technical field, or Life Sciences is a plus
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of Commercial Operations experience with a Bachelor’s degree, with 1-3 years of Management experience
Successful track record in Marketing, Sales, Service, or Channel Operations
Must be local to San Diego or willing to relocate
High degree of commercial business acumen
Ability to proactively identify opportunities
Ability to influence across the organization to generate consensus and tactically execute in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable adapting to ambiguity
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the team, ensuring alignment with departmental and commercial goals
Oversee daily activities to meet business objectives, budget targets, and deliver excellent customer experience
Implement Global policies and maintain Marketing technologies and best practices in partnership with global and regional teams
Train and support regional teams on Martech systems (e.g., SFDC, Pardot, DataCloud, ON24, Hive9, Cvent, Captello)
Track campaign execution, report on key metrics and ROI, and manage budget and actuals
Drive adoption of new commercial resources through user education and onboarding
Build and maintain relationships with internal groups (Regional Marketing, Inside Sales, Finance, GIS, Global Commercial Operations)
Partner with Sales Operations to connect Marketing and Sales functions throughout the funnel
Support efforts to capture competitive intelligence and report insights
Participate in talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and performance management
Proactively identify opportunities and collaborate across the organization to drive consensus
Adapt to ambiguity and partner with stakeholders to deliver departmental initiatives
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills
Perform other duties as required
