7-10 years relevant experience in an analytical role within a digital business, ideally media related
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Social Science; a graduate degree is preferred
Familiarity with lifecycle & retention analytics, including user segmentation, churn modeling, and engagement strategies, is a strong plus
Expertise in SQL with demonstrated hands-on experience
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) with a strong track record of translating data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
Strong knowledge of subscription services and the competitive landscape
Deep understanding of the media and content industry, including trends and audience behaviors, is preferred
Responsibilities
Support cross-functional collaboration to align analytics with business goals & shape the analytics roadmap with a data-driven strategic lens
Mentor junior analysts and foster a high-performing, learning-oriented team culture
Uncover behavioral insights through cohort analysis and A/B testing
Identify high-impact segments to inform lifecycle and retention strategies
Track churn signals and optimize for customer lifetime value
Recommend targeted actions to drive engagement and reduce loss
Support campaign planning and translate business needs into testable hypotheses, A/B experiments, and actionable insights
Evaluate campaign and product performance to inform go-forward strategies
Present insights that influence cross-functional decision-making
Lead recurring performance reporting, ensuring clarity, consistency, and actionability
Uphold data integrity, governance standards, and drive automation for scalable processes
