Requirements

  • 7-10 years relevant experience in an analytical role within a digital business, ideally media related
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Social Science; a graduate degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with lifecycle & retention analytics, including user segmentation, churn modeling, and engagement strategies, is a strong plus
  • Expertise in SQL with demonstrated hands-on experience
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) with a strong track record of translating data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of subscription services and the competitive landscape
  • Deep understanding of the media and content industry, including trends and audience behaviors, is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional collaboration to align analytics with business goals & shape the analytics roadmap with a data-driven strategic lens
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a high-performing, learning-oriented team culture
  • Uncover behavioral insights through cohort analysis and A/B testing
  • Identify high-impact segments to inform lifecycle and retention strategies
  • Track churn signals and optimize for customer lifetime value
  • Recommend targeted actions to drive engagement and reduce loss
  • Support campaign planning and translate business needs into testable hypotheses, A/B experiments, and actionable insights
  • Evaluate campaign and product performance to inform go-forward strategies
  • Present insights that influence cross-functional decision-making
  • Lead recurring performance reporting, ensuring clarity, consistency, and actionability
  • Uphold data integrity, governance standards, and drive automation for scalable processes
