Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team of 5-8 Data and Analytics Engineers
  • Provide people management to mentor, train, and promote professional growth of the team
  • Grow the team by closing skill gaps and hiring where needed
  • Partner with analysts, sales, and project managers to onboard new clients
  • Manage, prioritize, and execute on migrating dv01’s pipelines from Spark and Scala to dbt and BigQuery
  • Collaborate with Project Management to run sprint rituals and ceremonies
  • Review and contribute to technical planning (roadmaps, RFCs, and tech specs)
  • Communicate technical decisions to stakeholders across business and engineering teams
  • Work with engineering management peers to continuously improve the Engineering Organization
