Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus two years of experience in data analytics or a related field. Required skills include experience with transforming/automating data using DBMS systems (SQL, Hive, BigQuery), coding in OOP (Python, R, VBA), data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), statistics with applied experience on analyzing large data sets (Regression, Linear and Mixed Integer programming, UCM, ARIMA), transforming strategy into analytical approach (Inventory Optimization, Network design), collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large amounts of data (NumPy, Pandas), machine learning (Random Forest, Survivor modeling, Gradient Boosting, Bootstrapping), designing success metrics and transforming data into insights, automating and developing analytical platforms for testing, and working in multiple business areas/functions/segments (Auto, Retail, Semiconductor), driving customer-product interaction, user behavior, and engagement.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Advanced Analytics will be responsible for end-to-end workstreams and individual projects for a business area, category, or prototype, managing associated implementation risks. They will partner with leadership to understand goals and challenges, develop hypotheses, and define analytics objectives and research plans. The role involves presenting actionable recommendations to directors, building relationships with stakeholders to support business solutions, and developing data models and algorithms to drive business results. Responsibilities also include managing the development and implementation of prototypes, complex algorithms, and testing processes, collaborating with experts to develop new data analysis techniques, and applying advanced analytics to complex business problems. The manager will provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis, manage data analysis strategy, and collaborate with functional and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions. Additionally, they will interface with external partners and vendors, build and lead a team, coach team members, conduct performance and career development conversations, maintain team motivation, and mentor less experienced associates. Telecommuting is permissible.
