Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in PSPs, MNOs or banks
  • Experience in payment tools, digital products, and eCom business development
  • Proven ability managing a pipeline, negotiating business agreements, and driving commercial results
  • Comfortable with the Visa Leadership Principles (Lead Courageously, Collaborate as One Visa, Obsess about Customers, Execute with Excellence)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence direction and change attitudes and decisions of senior level international bankers
  • Proven track record of successful sales

Responsibilities

  • Drive Visa reach through promoting and selling Visa products, payment solutions, value-added services for merchants, PSPs, and acquirers in SEE markets
  • Be accountable for, strengthen, and extend Visa's impact with assigned accounts of top merchants, PSPs, and acquirers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro, leading relationship management and commercialization of Visa's business development objectives
  • Identify and assess F2F acquiring and eCom development trends, opportunities, and threats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro
  • Qualify and quantify market-specific opportunities in close cooperation with the SEE Team and understand factors critical to successful cooperation with merchants, PSPs, and acquirers
  • Ensure the sub-regional merchant solutions strategy and plans are effectively communicated to and understood by relevant stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro
  • Develop a strong understanding of Visa's products and services as well as the entire payments industry and ensure their proactive sales to merchants, PSPs, and acquirers
  • Carry out proactive actions aimed at increasing F2F acquiring and eCom Visa acceptance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro, grow acceptance footprint F2F and eCom, work towards financial literacy of SMEs and its enablement
  • Facilitate Co-brand initiatives with merchants and issuers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro, including prospecting, lead development, business case for clients, negotiations, active selling, and contracting for profitable new Cobrand opportunities
  • Support Co-brand deals after launch, control results, products upselling, deals renewal, and extension
  • Drive deeper penetration of consumer payments, B2B solutions, power client business with value-added services
  • In conjunction with Business Development Leader MSA SEE, manage the provision of consultancy to acquirers, merchants, ISVs, TPAs etc. on Visa products and solutions
