  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Well-rounded maintenance skills; experience in plumbing, mechanical work, electrical systems, and carpentry is a plus
  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures, including on roofs, ladders, and lifts
  • Comfortable around barn animals

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across the property, completing assigned jobs and maintaining logbooks
  • Utilize power and hand tools effectively to carry out job assignments
  • Diagnose electrical and gas issues using tools such as amp meters, voltmeters, and pressure gauges
  • Read blueprints and wiring schematics to install and maintain electrical components
  • Maintain awareness of property layout, cleanliness, safety, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while informing the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems
