Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, supplemented by hands-on or vocational school training
  • Minimum of three (3) years of inventory control experience, preferably in food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry in a manufacturing environment; or two (2) years of satisfactory work experience in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
  • Understand SAP, Data Pass, and all Inventory functionality
  • Ability to work under very low supervision and move between tasks with ease, following through to completion
  • Ability to work in a group environment prioritizing safety, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Flexibility in work hours, including weekends
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of problems with processes, equipment, and facilities
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations; recognize hazards and take corrective action
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Participate and lead cross-functional teams for continuous improvement and/or corrective action
  • Score satisfactory on pre-employment testing if applicable
  • Ability to work with computers, telephones, virtual collaboration environments
  • Physical ability to crawl over, under, and around equipment; extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, climbing; lift up to 50 pounds
  • Tolerance for exposure to toxic materials, gases, electrical hazards, dangerous tools/equipment
  • Pass forklift operations requirements testing and safely operate stand-up and sit-down lifts

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse inventory maintenance and reconciliation on a daily basis
  • Actively participate as a committed member of the ASP team, collaborating to complete department and plant goals
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws
  • Provide leadership in developing plant standard work documentation for Inventory Operations function
  • Provide leadership in developing standard operating procedures, forms, job performance measures, and training aids for Cycle Count Operation
  • Ensure documentation is maintained in ETQ
  • Assist in conducting safety, GMP, and operational effectiveness audits of production, shipping/warehouse, and support areas
  • Perform related duties as assigned
