Candidates must possess at least six months of experience in industrial maintenance, or equivalent certification from a technical school, with knowledge in industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing, and welding, and a strong electronic skill set. Experience or certification in the operation of PLC’s is a plus.
This Maintenance Generalist will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures, including setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery, learning Tyson SAP software for work orders and documentation, communicating with team members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers, using math for machinery computations, and completing required training. The role also involves lifting up to 50 lbs. periodically and working on your feet for 12 hours, as well as climbing stairs and ladders and towing a water hose.
