Candidates must possess an MS/PhD degree in Economics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, along with 3-4 years of experience in developing and operationalizing Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and marketing science solutions. They should have strong technical expertise in MMM and ML algorithms, the ability to connect model insights to business outcomes, experience with experimentation/causal inference methods, and proficiency in ML programming languages like Python or R, as well as data querying languages such as SQL. Furthermore, experience with cloud platforms for scalable model training and deployment is required, alongside the ability to balance practical business needs with technical possibilities and strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts effectively.
The Machine Learning Engineer will develop both descriptive and predictive MMMs to accurately measure the incremental impact of marketing and non-marketing drivers, expand modeling solutions to support a growing number of geographic locations and product groups, integrate additional measurement methodologies and data to ensure accurate measurement of marketing return on investment, balance technical capabilities with practical business needs, measure both short- and long-term impact of marketing to guide budget allocation across funnel stages, communicate model results effectively to partners and executives, continuously improve modeling techniques and capabilities, and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
