Candidates must possess a PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with over 8 years of software industry experience, including at least 5 years focused on developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models. Proficiency is required in statistical modeling, machine learning, analytics, and at least one programming language such as Python, GoLang, Java, or SQL, along with familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt-engineering is essential. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills are also necessary.
The Machine Learning Engineer will craft and develop machine learning applications, particularly in the generative AI domain. This includes implementing ML systems, addressing engineering challenges like API definition and UI integration, and defining/implementing evaluation metrics for model quality. The role involves participation in the full product lifecycle from design to production operations and providing technical leadership in architectural design, technology selection, and model evaluation.
