Requirements

Expertise in designing and implementing data-intensive ML applications in Azure
Ability to lead every stage of the ML software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to system design, implementation, and documentation
Experience leading workshops to gather technical and business requirements and translate customer pain points into AI and data science strategies
Knowledge of trends in Data & AI to advise stakeholders and influence technical direction
Proficiency in building end-to-end machine learning pipelines across supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning paradigms, with strengths in inferential statistics, time series, computer vision, or LLMs
Skills in engineering ML solutions that integrate with Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
Experience with state-of-the-art DevOps and MLOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated governance)
Ability to serve as a bridge between sales, leadership, and customers, identifying pain points and translating them into tailored ML solutions
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical architectures and ML solutions to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
Capability to navigate ambiguity in customer goals and technical landscapes while driving measurable outcomes
Mentoring and role modeling skills to foster a high-performance MLE culture and psychological safety
Thrives in early-stage environments, moving fast and shipping features at high velocity without compromising quality

Responsibilities

Lead and architect every stage of the ML software development lifecycle, from concept to production deployment
Lead workshops to gather requirements and translate customer pain points into actionable AI and data science strategies
Advise internal and external stakeholders on Data & AI trends to influence technical direction and scale ML market share
Architect and implement robust, scalable, data-driven machine learning applications in Azure
Produce thought leadership through GitHub contributions, blog posts, or technical talks on LinkedIn or YouTube
Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines across various paradigms
Engineer ML solutions integrated with Azure cloud infrastructure
Utilize DevOps and MLOps practices to build production-ready systems
Collaborate with sales, leadership, and customers to identify pain points and develop tailored ML solutions
Communicate technical architectures and solutions to diverse audiences
Navigate ambiguity and drive towards clear, measurable outcomes
Mentor and role model for team members, fostering high-performance culture and psychological safety
Set internal technical direction, find and scope new projects to grow the group
