Requirements

6+ years of relevant experience in machine learning
5+ years of experience in machine learning
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
Deep familiarity with time series methods, computer vision, and embeddings
Experience with geospatial libraries and frameworks like PyTorch/TF
Experience with data handling and preprocessing
Ability to experiment with model architectures and derive data-driven insights
ML engineering experience with Python and software development best practices
Hands-on production expertise with deploying models and monitoring/maintaining them at scale
Experience with AWS or GCP
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop new algorithms or methods and integrate them into production pipelines
Implement and test novel machine learning methods
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and iterative improvement of models
Innovate on computer vision, time series, and other ML techniques to uncover new insights from satellite and aerial data
Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define requirements, validate model outputs, and refine algorithms
Collaborate with adjacent ML and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of ML pre-processing and inference steps
Define best practices for efficient deployment and maintenance of geospatial models
