Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in machine learning
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Deep familiarity with time series methods, computer vision, and embeddings
  • Experience with geospatial libraries and frameworks like PyTorch/TF
  • Experience with data handling and preprocessing
  • Ability to experiment with model architectures and derive data-driven insights
  • ML engineering experience with Python and software development best practices
  • Hands-on production expertise with deploying models and monitoring/maintaining them at scale
  • Experience with AWS or GCP
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop new algorithms or methods and integrate them into production pipelines
  • Implement and test novel machine learning methods
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and iterative improvement of models
  • Innovate on computer vision, time series, and other ML techniques to uncover new insights from satellite and aerial data
  • Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define requirements, validate model outputs, and refine algorithms
  • Collaborate with adjacent ML and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of ML pre-processing and inference steps
  • Define best practices for efficient deployment and maintenance of geospatial models
