Knowledge and skills in various manufacturing disciplines, including manual, CNC, and grinding processes for repair and modification of turbine engine components
Ability to lead a team to meet and exceed customer goals in a climate-controlled modern manufacturing setting
Capability to ensure machines and equipment are maintained, optimized, and operated efficiently
Experience monitoring work completion while ensuring quality standards are met
Ability to collaborate with other production supervisors using established communication channels

Responsibilities

Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Oversee the safety and well-being of the team in accordance with company standards
Monitor assigned work while reviewing completed jobs/projects to ensure adherence to work scope and company expectations
Collaborate with designated trainers and department managers to monitor, guide, and improve employee development (including cross-training) and process improvements
Participate and contribute to regularly scheduled department meetings, including monthly and smaller frequent group meetings; communicate changes affecting employees in a timely manner
Monitor and ensure team members adhere to written and verbal work instructions, use approved gages and tools, and inspect parts to determine required material removal
Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve desired results
Work with production planners to prioritize tasks and ensure orders are completed on schedule
