Candidates should possess at least one year of experience in loss prevention or a related field, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. They must be able to walk sales floor, stockrooms, and office areas during their shift, and demonstrate the ability to de-escalate incidents involving confrontation.
The Loss Prevention Lead will primarily mitigate and reduce losses through the deterrence of external theft and the execution of key operational programs, monitoring customer and teammate traffic for potential theft activity, completing detailed incident reports, and following up with local authorities. They will also assist in monitoring store compliance with policies related to safety, operational controls, and Merchandise Expose Standards (MES) execution, participate in Shrink Coach meetings, conduct MES sweeps, and provide ad hoc support for the general needs of the business, while promoting store awareness around addressing theft and operational controls.
