Experience with international and CONUS shipping and receiving
Experience with broker coordination and freight forwarding
Normal business hours are 7AM to 4PM EST
Experience with international Shipping & Receiving (Preferred)
Experience with Customs Invoicing

Responsibilities

Oversee the organization and tracking of inventory levels
Monitor and analyze inventory reports
Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss or damage
Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
Manage the loading and unloading of trucks
Create and maintain a schedule for incoming and outgoing shipments
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities
Prepare and submit reports to upper management
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations
Monitor and analyze logistics costs
Identify areas for cost savings and implement cost saving measures
Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable pricing
Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes
Implement new strategies and technologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes
Supervises logistics staff (2 Direct Reports)
Understand team dynamics and effective management practices
