Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience with design, construction, or operation of petrochemical infrastructure, with experience representing an asset owner being a plus. A strong understanding of industry standards, applicable regulatory codes, and company standards is also required.

Responsibilities

The LNG Project Engineer will serve as a focal point for technical issues and coordination between EPC and owner-furnished equipment suppliers, liaising with home office engineering to resolve technical challenges. They will participate in the project safety program through safety walks and reviews, manage the RFI process for the liquefaction scope, review drawings, identify quality issues, research code issues, attend project meetings, support systems completion and commissioning activities, manage change processes, review installation plans, assist in development of turnover dossiers, deliver a status of site engineering activities, build relationships with contractor counterparts, and understand and communicate contractual requirements.
