Technical storyteller able to break down complex blockchain infrastructure concepts into compelling narratives
Intimate knowledge of the crypto ecosystem and close following of crypto news and narratives
Natural connector able to engage with technical founders, researchers, and thought leaders to drive interesting, thought-provoking conversations
Comfortable and experienced behind the mic and camera
Ability to think critically about meaningful content and provide a balanced, neutral voice in technical discussions
Crypto native with deep understanding of blockchain architecture and related ecosystems/networks
Demonstrated success hosting or producing crypto content for podcasts, webinars, blogs, or other reporting, with examples of best work
Experience interviewing technical experts and driving substantive discussions
Uncanny ability to discern compelling stories amid noise
Historical success growing an audience and following
Comfortability with experimentation and being uncomfortable

Responsibilities

Host the Podcast: Plan, script, host, and record two episodes per week
Develop Podcast Content: Design and develop content, themes, series format, and episode topics informed by latest crypto and macro news/events
Identify, Source, and Secure Guests: Proactively find and secure guests with untapped potential for exceptional stories
Contribute to Newsletters: Partner with editorial team to write contributions
Drive Social Engagement: Leverage personal and professional social channels to grow audience through exceptional content and authentic marketing
Partner with Sales: Collaborate with sales team to build new sponsorship areas and strengthen relationships with current sponsors
Learn, Embrace, and Grow the Blockworks Audience: Work with production team to understand audience segments, uncover insights, and stimulate engagement/content evolution
Build the Brand IRL: Represent the show at in-person events like listener meet-ups, hackathons, Blockworks conferences, and more
Serve as the face, voice, and thought leader of the brand to grow audience and impact
