Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in recruiting and managing provider networks, including negotiating, reviewing, and amending contracts with hospitals, physicians, physician groups, and ancillary providers using various payment methodologies. Strong business acumen, innovation, independence, and confidence are key competencies. Proficiency in Google or MS Suite is required, with desired skills including the ability to make quick, independent decisions, mutually beneficial negotiation skills, attention to detail, financial report analysis, "big picture" thinking, understanding decision impacts on the network, and effective oral/written communication.

Responsibilities

The VP Network Development will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of an adequate provider network in an assigned geographic area. This includes maintaining relationships and performing all provider relations activities, negotiating and renegotiating contracts with all assigned provider types, and monitoring various reports to ensure compliance requirements are met. The role also involves reporting current status, risks, and potential opportunities to leadership, and supporting the overall Network Team to achieve success.
