Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum of 2 years of experience within conflicts at a firm similar in size to Saul Ewing. Experience with IntApp and Aderant is preferred. A demonstrated ability to work timely and accurately is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong people, communication, and multitasking skills are required, as well as being highly organized and detail-oriented. The ability to work both independently and within a team environment is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Legal Conflicts Specialist will coordinate the conflict clearance process for legal candidates with the Legal Recruiting Department and Conflicts Attorneys. They will conduct conflict clearance checks for experienced hires, interface with Legal Recruiting during the verification of prior work history, and review resumes and forms while following up for additional information as needed. The Specialist will identify potential conflict concerns, provide summaries of analysis to Conflicts Attorneys, ensure all searching is complete and accurate, and serve as a resource for the Legal Recruiting team. Additionally, they will prepare documents for new hire orientation, conduct initial reviews of intake forms, and perform formal conflicts searches using standard Boolean logic.
