Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in legal, compliance, or business operations
  • Hands-on experience in project coordination, process improvement, or technology implementation
  • Track record of managing outside counsel invoices and monthly accruals process
  • Familiarity with legal technology tools such as Legal Tracker, CLM, or document management systems
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience independently planning, organizing, and managing competing priorities and major projects
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects and technology initiatives, from design through implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvement
  • Serve as a representative of the Legal department on enterprise-wide initiatives, collaborating with the company’s Program Management Office (PMO), Finance, IT, Procurement, and other teams
  • Lead process improvement projects from planning to execution, ensuring adoption and scalability; create, maintain, and monitor project plans, including project tasks, resources, risk mitigation, project meetings, and schedules; undertake project tasks as required
  • Document, improve, and standardize key legal processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Drive department efforts to implement, configure, and roll out new and existing legal technology tools (e.g., CLM, e-billing, matter management, iManage)
  • Support development of business cases for resourcing, scope, and budget estimates; evaluate and strategically adopt emerging legal technologies, including AI-driven platforms and automation tools
  • Serve as a key point of contact for system users, providing guidance and troubleshooting support
  • Lead and improve monthly accruals and reconciliation process including data analytics and budget forecasting
  • Review outside counsel invoices and ensure compliance with billing guidelines
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and management, including security reviews, budget analysis, and user engagement
