Candidates should possess 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree, in leading leadership development, performance management, and/or succession planning initiatives. Required qualifications include experience designing and implementing leadership development programs with measurable business impact, modernizing talent processes through technology and AI integration, strong project management skills with multiple stakeholders, excellent communication and influencing abilities up to the C-Suite level, and coaching and assessment accreditations. Experience with performance management or OKR systems like Betterworks, a background in financial services or technology, knowledge of AI applications in talent management, and experience designing/facilitating in-person leadership development are considered nice-to-haves.
The Senior Manager will lead the design and implementation of Marqeta's leadership development strategy and the Leadership Accelerator program. They will drive the strategic approach, design, and implementation of talent, performance, and succession planning processes, integrating AI into performance coaching and leadership development. This role involves partnering with executives to develop leadership capabilities and implement OKR management systems, supporting succession planning processes including data compilation and talent review facilitation, and preparing board-level presentations. Additionally, the Senior Manager will evaluate industry trends and best practices to make recommendations for driving strategic objectives.
