Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with Army and/or military Tactical Radio systems, or comparable technologies, along with robust technical knowledge of commercial networking. A secret clearance is required, and familiarity with US Army Tactical Radio networks and RF network technologies spanning from Division down to Battalion, Company and the tactical edge is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lead Tactical Radio Engineer will deliver subject matter expertise on US Army Tactical Radio networks and RF network technologies, offer operational and user-focused insights on the deployment and utilization of tactical radios and networks, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the Army’s organizational structures and planning processes. This role will involve collaborating with software product teams to develop capabilities, supporting the installation, configuration, and management of tactical communications systems, and actively soliciting feedback to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and feature development. Additionally, the position requires occasional travel to military installations for exercises and events, and translating complex operational information for cross-functional groups.
