Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 7 years of experience with service APIs, caching, web components, content management, web security, SSR/CSR, microservices, and identity management. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on enterprise-level application development experience for consumer-facing applications is required, along with 3 years of experience architecting solutions for cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS. Proficiency with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies, experience in designing complex systems and user interfaces, and expertise in requirements analysis, estimation, systems design, and testing are also required. Experience with distributed computing architectures, driving build vs. buy evaluations, and modern JavaScript (ES6/ES7/ES8) and UI middleware are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lead Solution Architect will serve as the technical architecture expert for a value stream, managing architectural roadmaps and ensuring successful product deliveries. Responsibilities include understanding product requirements and vision, evaluating technical feasibility, identifying blockers and risks, and leading solution discussions. The role involves working on overall solutions with colleagues across UI, API, and service levels, defining logic workflows, integration strategies, and technical blueprints. Key duties include communicating and presenting solutions to business partners and leadership, aligning engineering teams on technical blueprints, leading proof-of-concepts and spike solutions, and providing reference architectures. The architect will evaluate new technologies and vendors, provide guidance and mentorship to developers and other architects on best practices, standards, and the design of server applications including APIs, microservices, containers, databases, and cloud services. Ensuring non-functional requirements are met and participating in high-level estimations are also core responsibilities.
