Responsibilities
Assess potential effects and impact of proposed changes on engineering teams and stakeholders, identifying and documenting all areas of impact
Create comprehensive change management plans aligned with project, engineering goals, and impact analysis
Perform change readiness assessments on teams, identify gaps, and incorporate plans to address them
Proactively identify potential risks and resistance to change, collaborating with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
Map out key stakeholders, understand their influence, and develop engagement strategies with project/product owners to ensure support
Ensure alignment between project/product goals and change management objectives
Partner with Product/Project managers to align change management activities with project governance, staying informed on timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and providing regular updates
Collaborate or drive the development of training materials and conduct technical workshops to prepare engineers for changes
Define success metrics to track change adoption progress, measure performance, and report on outcomes
