Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training and experience
  • Experience for over 3+ years working with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management is required including hands-on experience on ProActive, Config Director, UDC config, etc
  • Hands on experience in scripting languages like: FreeMarker, Velocity, and Python is mandatory
  • Experience for over 6+ years working with Manhattan WMOS is good to have
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, putaway, waving, order streaming, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control etc.) and hands-on configuration experience on Active WMS
  • Experience with other Manhattan solutions such as Slotting Optimization, SCI Reporting, MIF / DIF, Labor Management, etc
  • Experience in writing automation tests
  • Experience reading and writing SQL is mandatory
  • Experience with API, XML, and integration frameworks
  • Experience with other supply chain execution systems such as JDA, HighJump, and SAP is good to have
  • Proven ability to apply base Manhattan Active WMS functionality and configurations to address Client/Business requirements
  • Ability to research and recommend custom design to resolve business issues/problems
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to individuals, small groups, and leadership
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments and Manhattan Active architecture (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Manhattan Active WMS capabilities and extensibility to deliver solutions for business needs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document WMS requirements
  • Translate business processes into Active WMS functional design and configure system parameters to support operational needs
  • Perform technical analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment within Active WMS
  • Configure and support integrations between WMS and WCS, ERP, TMS, YMS, Slotting, and other supply chain systems (using APIs, middleware, or direct interfaces)
  • Work with Manhattan associates and Nike engineering to lead the design and development of new capabilities
  • Serve as an escalation point and a subject matter expert to resolve business critical issues when needed
  • Design and configure WMS-related technical solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Define test scenarios based on business processes and may participate in integration testing when needed
  • Conduct usability User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with business teams
  • Support production distribution centers (DC) in incident management, problem management, minor enhancements, change management, and documentation
  • Implementation of Active WM in new DCs and implementing new WMS capabilities for existing DCs
  • Program Increment Planning, Story Refinement and Estimation
  • Spikes, Detailed Design, Build and Test
  • Integration Build and E2E Tests
  • Scrums And Associated Sprint Ceremonies
  • Knowledge transfer to production support after each implementation
  • Resolve escalated tickets, performance problems and create Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document on Severity level issues
